There are many reasons why you should use a cover lifter on your hot tub or spa. Covers are bulky items that should ideally be removed by two people, doing it by yourself can easily result in a mishap and the spa cover may well be damaged as a result. A cover lifter enables one person to open and close their spa in safety. Once opened the hot tub cover is 'parked' out of harms way, avoiding damage that can easily be sustained whilst the cover is 'off' the tub. Wind can easily blow a cover over if 'lent' vertically against a wall causing damage,or if you place it on the floor or decking it can get dirty and consequently the dirt ends up in your tub.
