If your hot tub or spa cover has become very heavy or water is pooling on the surface now is the time to replace it. Please don't delay as your existing cover will have lost almost all its thermal properties and will undoubtedly be costing you much wasted energy and money!

Hot Tub & Spa Covers generally fail due to the ingression of water into the insulation 'core'. Many hot tub cover manufacturers use a 'bogstandard' plastic wrap to encapsulate the 'core' because it's cheap. We don't! Our encapsulation wrap is chemically 'resistant' and will survive the exposure for much longer. Being a specialist product it is more expensive, but essential for the application!

We think that you will find our hot tub cover GUARANTEE is rather better than our competitors.

Our hot tub covers use ZINC-PLATED STEEL reinforcement on each side of the insulation blocks to prevent sagging across the central section. Steel has 3 x the strength of Aluminium at the same thickness.

Most of our competitors use an ALUMINIUM channel for support. But this bends too easily and once bent it actually creates the problem that it was supposed to prevent! Our Hot Tub & Spa Covers are also 'tapered' so that water runs off them naturally and melting snow does the same.....

Don't entertain purchasing a non-tapered hot tub cover!

All the materials we use for the hot tub cover; Vinyl, mesh, threads & zips are MARINE GRADE. Why would you use anything else for an outside application? Despite the 'boasting' of some competitors, all MARINE GRADE vinyl is UV & MILDEW treated. They have to be to survive a life on the seven seas!

Hot Tub & Spa Cover Technical Details

• Our standard insulation is 880 gm's:/.0283cm (Or in USA terminology 1.94Lb Foam). It is also 'virgin' product which means it is stronger.
• Our premium insulation is 1,049 gm's:/.0283cm (Or in USA terminology 2.3Lb Foam). It is also 'virgin' product.
• We now supply both these products in a 10.16 cm to 7.62 cm (4" to 3" taper). The premium insulation gives approximately a +20% advantage in terms of insulation value and a +25% in rigidity/strength value. Additionally we offer LEVEL 2 PREMIUM & LEVEL 3 PREMIUM insulation for colder climates or customers wanting to make further energy savings. A VAST MAJORITY of UK customers opt for PREMIUM insulation and we have in fact noticed a trend during 2012 of customers upgrading to LEVEL 2 premium as they are keen to offset the seemingly endless rises in energy costs.
• Both 'core' materials we offer are suitable for the Mid/Southern European Market, the Premium Material is well worth the small pricing differential and this is recognized by 94.5% of our customers who select this option. Customers further 'North' tend to order with LEVEL 2 or LEVEL 3 upgrades - especially those in ski-resort areas etc.
• The main reason for 'water ingression' is the failure of the CORE ENCAPSULATION MATERIAL, for this reason we use a 135 micron, chemical resistant product.
• The encapsulation is 'twice sealed' around the core material. For customers in the UK or similar climates, or indeed commercial users like holiday cottages/lodges etc. anywhere we offer a DOUBLE ENCAPSULATED CORE option. This option is a 'belt and braces' approach and as about 99% of covers in the UK fail because of water ingression it is prudent to select this. Customers in hotter climates like the southern Spain etc. may find the option less useful as covers in countries with strong UV from the sun tend to fail for different reasons - primarily vinyl degredation.
• We use a high quality Marine Grade Vinyl (and yes, all marine grade vinyls have resistance to UV, mildew etc. because of their 'marine' application). NOTE: Constant exposure to strong UV light will eventually 'destroy' any vinyl, but cover life can be extended with proper care. We recommend regular treatment with 303 cover protectant and/or the addition of an 'over-cover'.
• Our zippers are also used in the 'marine' industry for their strength and longevity.
• We use a mesh underside which allows chemically charged water to escape far better than old-style 'grommets'.
• Thread is once again 'marine' grade. In common with standard practice all handles, strap-points and hinge areas are reinforced and double stitched.
• We use high quality cover locks - that work with a key. Stops inquisitive little people from getting near the water!
• Every cover has 'steam fingers' at each end of the hinge area, these 'pads' form a seal to prevent heat loss - we make these with Velcro pads to enable positioning to be optomised.
• We offer a range of 'designer vinyl' colours to choose from; something for every taste! NOTE: Any vinyls with a high percentage of RED, like Cherry or Burgundy are best suited to INDOOR applications.
